Teresa Cantrell, Tecma’s Director of New Business Development, is a native of Chihuahua, Mexico, and holds a degree in Marketing from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, one of Mexico’s premier universities. She is bilinqual and bi-cultural.

Before joining the company, Teresa managed the logistics, distribution and customs for UPS along the U.S.-Mexican border. In 1998, Teresa moved on an opportunity to participate in the start-up of a large manufacturing facility for First International Computers of Japan, where she gained valuable, additional experience in logistics and in many real estate/construction aspects. In 2003, Teresa joined Tecma as Director of Client Services and has been privy to the ever-changing, complex border issues and its opportunities.

As Director of New Business Development, her extensive and specialized experience in general administration, labor laws, customs and logistics on the border provides Tecma’s clients with absolute assurance that their manufacturing programs in Mexico have her personal attention, day in and day out. Teresa, a natural people-person, is excellent at guiding new clients beginning with a smooth start-up through every operation to assure mutual success at every turn.
