Vanessa Martinez

Vanessa Martinez serves as Chief of Staff at the Tecma Group of Companies, where she partners with executive leadership to advance strategic initiatives, organizational alignment, and cross-functional projects across the company’s U.S. and Mexico operations. Her work spans executive coordination, board-level preparation, business process improvement, and the day-to-day execution that keeps complex priorities moving across a bi-national shelter services environment.

Vanessa brings a strong background in operations, stakeholder management, and executive communications, with experience guiding initiatives that require alignment across legal, commercial, finance, and operational teams.

Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University, with a double major in International Business, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation, and a focus in Political Science. That foundation has shaped a career oriented around international commerce, organizational strategy, and the policy and institutional context in which global businesses operate.

Prior to joining Tecma, Vanessa served as Executive Director/CEO of the War Eagles Air Museum, where she led operations, partnerships, fundraising, and major events. A former Texas Army National Guard intelligence officer and a licensed fixed-wing and rotorcraft pilot, she remains active in the regional aviation community as a board member and Vice President of Air Operations for the Amigo Airsho, and as Vice President of a local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
