Carlos Bello, the executive director of the Mexican Federation of Aerospace Industry (FEMIA), made a Mexico aerospace industry presentation in May of 2013 at Mexico Now’s Aerospace Industry Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Mexico aerospace industry has grown at a twenty percent clip over the last decade, and closed 2012 with an expansion of twenty-four percent.   Two hundred and sixty-seven companies make up Mexico’s aerospace manufacturing and service base.  Total employment in this industry sector is more than thirty-thousand.

The Mexican Federation of Aerospace Industries membership rolls are comprised of sixty-eight companies that export US $5.1 million of manufacturers in the aggregate.  Mexico aerospace production is now among that of the top ten country industries in the world.
