Years of employing best practices and creating a positive workplace environment pays off in the form of international recognition for the Tecma Group.

The Tecma Group of Companies recently received recognition for having created a superior workplace environment for all of its personnel by the prestigious international organization, the Great Place to Work® Institute. Formal notification of this achievement was made by company leadership during Tecma’s annual Christmas celebration, which was recently held at the Camino Real Hotel in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

In order to become a recipient of this prestigious accolade the Tecma Group went through a comprehensive, top to bottom organizational assessment process that required several months to complete. This company review was conducted by the Great Place to Work organization. Steps in the process included:

  • the performance of a Trust Index Assessment for the purpose of measuring and
  • bencharking employees’ experience;the completion of an exercise designed to gain
  • an understanding of the impact of programs and benefits on workplace culture;
  • the conduct of employee interviews and focus groups designed to gather targeted workforce data;
  • the completion of a Trust Appraisal designed to improve managment accountability to staff.

The Tecma Group will be receiving a visit from Great Place to Work® personnel during the month of January 2015 to formally receive its certificate.
